I’m at the Singularity Summit today, after spending two months on my sailboat in B.C. Quite a change in venue!

As you can tell by reading this blog, I’m quite interested in AI. The theme of ‘friendly intelligence’ strikes a chord in me. I’m currently working on an artificial personality simulator, EmpathyWorks™, a project that I’ve been noodling on for over thirty years. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to chat with various people here at the conference about integrating artificial personality into a whole artificial organism.
