I have different versions of my resume:

1. 32 years on three pages.
2. Long form on 13 pages.

After reading the short form of my resume, people often ask "what have you done since 2005?" The short answer is a lot of expert witness and consulting work, writing and publishing a book and well as product development for EmpathyWorks. The details are in the long form of my resume, in the litigation support and consulting sections.

• The slides for a presentation that I give on "Using Flex with Enterprise Web Services" are accompanied by a Youtube video that I made entitled "Schema-Oriented Enterprise Web Services with Flex and AIR", which shows some work I did for an enterprise client. A video update entitled "WSDL Introspector" shows later progress.

Biography

I have over three decades of experience as a hands-on software entrepreneur. I focus on value creation, including business drivers, technology and methodology. I have provided litigation support for contractual and patent disputes. A graduate of Carleton University, I received my B. Eng. in Electronics in 1979 and became P. Eng. in B.C. in 1983. I have lived in Silicon Valley since 1996.
